The Nudie Pop-Up Shop is finally here!!

Last Wednesday, Nudie Jeans Co., Antenna Magazine, PBR, Devotion Vodka, and Tobi.com joined forces to unveil the West Coast’s first Nudie Jeans Pop-Up Shop here at Azalea.  We had a blast getting acquainted with all of our new styles, listening to DJ Stepmom & Bomar spin an awesome set, giving away FREE JEANS, and sippin’ on some Vodka-Sodas.  With a great looking crowd and over 300 new Nudie pieces, how could you possibly not enjoy yourself?!

Leaking some info on a pop-up store at Azalea. Exciting, exciting…. (more info coming).

Our annual karaoke contest during the holiday block party was a BLAST! We had tons of good music and singing – from Elvis, Wham, A-HA, Pat Benatar, even… “Who Let the Dogs Out!” Thanks for all the participants and congratulations to Michael our winner, who got a $100 GC to shop at Azalea. Sweeeettt!!

For the MARTIN launch, we collaborated with Mike Martin to do somthing a little….different.

PHOTO SCAVENGER RACE DETAILS 09.12.09

In traditional fashion, there was a 48 hour lead time for this race. Again, a tight group of racers gathered who were there to do just that. Each racer shot themselves at as many checkpoints as they could in 1 hour. the magic number was 20 out of 50. The top two finishers rode the course together, and had to go back out to fight for first. Blake Godwin, and Brad Handle sprinted back to get the clock tower, but the market street vent/grate was mean to Brad, so that settled top two.

Bicycles took over the front of the store as everyone geared up to race.  Curious on lookers ventured over to see what all the fuss was about… and were introduced to the MARTIN collection.
